This Privacy Policy describes how BOOROCK LLC, a Georgia limited liability company (“BOOROCK,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), collects, uses, shares, and protects information about the individuals who use the BOOROCK marketplace platform (the “Platform”), which serves Cobb County and the greater Atlanta metro area in Georgia. This Policy applies to Patrons (homeowners and property managers), Providers (home service professionals), and other visitors who access the Platform. By using the Platform, You agree to the collection and use of Your information as described in this Policy.
When You use the Platform as a Patron, we may collect: (a) account information such as name, email address, phone number, and billing address; (b) property information such as service address and property type; (c) service request details, including description of work, photos, and scope of project; (d) payment information processed through Stripe (BOOROCK does not store full credit card numbers); (e) communications with Providers and BOOROCK through the Platform; and (f) reviews and ratings You submit.
When You use the Platform as a Provider, we may collect: (a) account and business information, including name, business name, email, phone number, address, and business license numbers; (b) insurance documentation, including policy numbers, coverage amounts, and expiration dates; (c) background check information, if a background check is authorized and conducted; (d) payment and banking information required by Stripe for payout processing; (e) job completion documentation, including photos, location data, and time records submitted through the Platform; (f) communications with Patrons and BOOROCK through the Platform; and (g) ratings and reviews received.
We automatically collect certain technical information when You use the Platform, including device type, operating system, browser type, IP address, and general location data; access logs reflecting pages viewed, time of access, and actions taken; and diagnostic and performance data.
We may receive information about You from third parties, including license and credential verification services; insurance verification providers; background check consumer reporting agencies; payment processors (Stripe); and communications service providers.
This Section describes BOOROCK’s practices for SMS messaging. Additional TCPA consent provisions appear in the BOOROCK Patron Terms of Service and Provider Service Agreement.
Program Name. The SMS messaging program is identified as “BOOROCK Notifications.”
Opt-In. Consent to receive SMS messages from BOOROCK is entirely optional. Opting in is not a condition of using the Platform, creating an account, or booking a service. You opt in by checking the SMS consent box(es) on the registration page. Consent surfaces are unchecked by default. The form submits whether or not any SMS consent box is checked. Each consent surface identifies the program (BOOROCK Notifications), the categories of messages You will receive, the typical message frequency, the notice “Msg & data rates may apply,” and the instructions “You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP.” Privacy Policy and Terms of Service links are accessible from each consent surface. When You check a box and submit, that affirmative action is recorded with timestamp, IP address, and user agent as the consent audit trail. Each consent is recorded independently.
Message Types. If You opt in, BOOROCK may send SMS messages including: phone number verification codes; new job request alerts (to Providers); quote notifications (to Patrons); scheduling and appointment reminders; payment and payout confirmations; account and security notifications; and (where You have separately consented) promotional or marketing messages. Message frequency varies based on account activity and the consent categories You have selected, typically five (5) to thirty (30) messages per month per active user.
Opt-Out and Help. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP. If You have consented to multiple SMS programs, STOP and HELP apply to the program associated with the message You reply to. Upon receiving a STOP request, BOOROCK will cease sending the corresponding category of SMS messages to that phone number. Opting out of SMS does not affect Your account or Your ability to use the Platform through other communication channels (in-app notifications, email, push notifications).
Carrier Disclosure. Message and data rates may apply per Your mobile carrier plan. BOOROCK is not responsible for charges imposed by Your mobile carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Mobile Data Sharing Restriction. No mobile information (including phone numbers, opt-in status, and SMS message content) will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This restriction applies regardless of any other sharing permissions described elsewhere in this Policy. Mobile information is used only to deliver the SMS messages described in this Section 1.5 and is shared only with the service providers necessary to deliver those messages (e.g., Twilio for SMS transport), which are contractually obligated to use the information solely to provide that service to BOOROCK.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
(a) To operate and provide the Platform, including processing bookings, matching Patrons with Providers, facilitating payments, and enabling communications;
(b) To verify Provider credentials, licenses, and insurance, and to process Provider background checks where authorized;
(c) To process payments and manage financial transactions through Stripe;
(d) To communicate with You about Your account, transactions, Platform updates, and support requests;
(e) To send marketing and promotional communications (to which You may opt out at any time);
(f) To improve the Platform, including training and improving AI-assisted matching and routing systems using anonymized or aggregated data;
(g) To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of this Policy and our Terms of Service;
(h) To comply with applicable law, including responding to legal process and regulatory inquiries; and
(i) To enforce our Terms of Service and other agreements.
We share information in the following circumstances:
(a) With Providers and Patrons: We share the information necessary to facilitate a booking, including contact information, service details, and job documentation, between the Patron and Provider on an active booking.
(b) With Service Providers: We share information with vendors and service providers who help us operate the Platform, including Stripe (payments), cloud hosting providers, credential verification services, background check agencies, communications platforms, and analytics providers. These parties are contractually required to use Your information only as necessary to provide services to us.
(c) In Business Transfers: If BOOROCK is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, Your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. BOOROCK LLC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of LIMITLESS AI LLC. In connection with any corporate transaction involving either entity, information may be disclosed to or transferred to the successor or acquiring entity.
(d) For Legal Compliance: We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, court order, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of BOOROCK, our users, or the public.
(e) With Your Consent: We may share information for any other purpose with Your prior consent.
The Platform uses artificial intelligence and automated systems in connection with its operations. At launch, this includes:
(a) Service Request Processing: AI systems assist in interpreting service request information submitted by Patrons, identifying service categories, and structuring requests for Provider matching.
(b) Provider Matching and Coordination: Automated systems assist in matching service requests with available Providers based on location, service category, availability, and other Platform factors.
(c) Job Coordination: Automated systems send notifications, reminders, and coordination messages related to scheduled jobs.
(d) Quality and Compliance Monitoring: Automated systems review job completion documentation submitted by Providers to support payment processing and quality review.
(e) Dispute Review: AI systems assist in initial review of dispute submissions. Disputes involving claims above Fifty Dollars ($50.00) are escalated to human review by BOOROCK personnel. AI systems do not make final, binding determinations on disputes above this threshold without human review.
We do not use fully automated systems to make final, binding decisions about user accounts or Platform access without the ability for human review. If You believe an automated decision affecting Your account was made in error, You may contact BOOROCK at support@boorock.ai to request human review.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No security measures are perfect, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of Your information. If You believe Your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately at support@boorock.ai.
Under the Georgia Personal Identity Protection Act, O.C.G.A. § 10-1-910 et seq., BOOROCK is required to notify affected Georgia residents in the event of a breach of security involving certain categories of personal information, including Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, and driver’s license numbers. In the event of a qualifying breach, BOOROCK will notify affected Georgia residents in a timely manner in accordance with Georgia law and, where required, the Georgia Attorney General. If You believe Your personal information has been compromised in connection with Your use of the Platform, please contact us at security@boorock.ai.
We retain information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Provider background check reports are retained for the period required by applicable law and FCRA obligations.
Depending on Your location and applicable law, You may have certain rights regarding Your personal information, including:
(a) Access: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about You.
(b) Correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
(c) Deletion: You may request deletion of Your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
(d) Opt-Out of Marketing Communications: You may opt out of marketing emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or out of marketing texts by replying STOP.
(e) Account Deletion: You may request deletion of Your account by contacting support@boorock.ai.
Note for Georgia Residents: Georgia does not currently have a comprehensive consumer privacy law providing statutory privacy rights. However, BOOROCK will honor reasonable requests regarding Your personal information to the extent practicable.
Note for California Residents: California consumers have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know, delete, and opt-out of the sale of personal information. BOOROCK does not sell personal information. California residents may exercise their rights by contacting privacy@boorock.ai.
